Current Vintage Nantucket 

Current Vintage is a beloved wine, clothing & home store entering its 16th year on Nantucket Island. Our partners, founder Beth English and Sommelier Savannah Johnson, travel far and wide to bring Nantucket the best wine & vintage there is to offer. With a selection of nearly 400 wines, Current Vintage specializes in both small and iconic producers, featuring a handpicked selection of exceptional wines at every price point. From fun wine to fine wine, we have a bottle for every occasion. Farmstead cheese & charcuterie, artisan snacks and craft beers are on hand to complement the wine program. 



Our curated collection of vintage clothing & accessories includes fabulous resort pieces from a range of decades for both men and women. The gifts and home goods collection includes everything you need for entertaining, from cocktail napkins to stemware.

Elisabeth English - Founder

Elisabeth founded Current Vintage in 2008, merging her passions and expertise in fine wine and vintage clothing. She has spent decades traveling the world, visiting wineries and exploring different cultures. Her intensive wine immersion and travel has included Australia, France (Burgundy, Bordeaux, Cahors, Champagne, Provence, Rhone Valley); Italy (Piedmont, Lombardy, Sicily); New Zealand, South Africa; Portugal (Alentejo, Bairrada, Dao, Douro); Spain (Priorat & Penedes), California and Oregon. She continues to build her wine knowledge and develop her passion for educating consumers on new regions and producers and will travel to Chile with Wines of Chile in Winter 2022. She believes that fine clothing, like good wine, should be made well with attention to detail.


Elisabeth has proudly served on the board of Theatre Workshop Nantucket since 2012 and Current Vintage is a lead business sponsor of TWN.

Savannah Harvey - Sommelier

Savannah’s interest in wine was sparked in the New York City fine dining scene, where she worked for 7 years prior to making the move to Nantucket Island. She has earned the Advanced Award in Wines from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust and is currently completing her Diploma with the organization.
Making sure Current Vintage is a welcoming and fun environment where not only wine experts, but wine novices, feel comfortable navigating the shop and trusting the staff to recommend a delicious bottle is something of the utmost importance to Savannah. Through shop tasting notes and conversation, she hopes to assist all wine lovers in discovering the language to describe their ideal glass. Savannah is particularly passionate about creating wine and food pairings - Her greatest joy in the shop is when patrons ask “So, I’m having this for dinner… What should I drink?”.
