Yes, we are loving the sunshine…blue skies….warm water.  But that doesn’t mean we can’t get excited over a little Fall fashion…after all, it’s coming!

How can we begrudge the return to jeans when they look so irresistibly chic with a Virginia Slims 70s suede jacket? How can we complain about socks when there are such great vintage boots to don?  If we must wear pants, bring on the vintage Burberry!

Let’s face it–God created Fall Fashion to help us get over the end of summer and it totally works.

On a recent perfect September day, we had a little dress up session with some of our favorite vintage pieces that will get you in the mood for jeans & boots and the inevitable transition in the weeks to come…

Cheers to Fall, Y’all!

It was a little cooler this morning and all of a sudden, even though the water is still warm, we are craving soup & suede…
Don’t these Fall looks look so yummy?!

That’s September on Nantucket…beach days & Fall fashion…two things we love!

For those of you hanging on to summer or heading South for the winter, we have a super SALE happening–one rack of $20-$75 Clearance, another 2 racks of markdown and our ONCE A YEAR LILLY SALE!  All Vintage Lilly not yet marked down is now 20% OFF!  Vested Gentress & Malia, too!  This will go on for a week or so–while supply lasts.  It’s a great time to try on and find that collectible vintage piece you have been waiting for….

Another thing of note in September is the David Mamet play “November” at Theatre Workshop Nantucket.  I had the marvelous experience of attending opening night.  We are blessed to have many professional resident actors on Nantucket and Paul Carlin, here from NY in the lead role of President Smith, is a must see!

Our Friday tastings will continue through Columbus Weekend but that will hardly be our last one.  cV is open through New Year’s, so there will be many more special tastings in the months to come, just not weekly.  We will be traveling as usual in late October, and will certainly be sharing new wine discoveries from Burgundy, Provence & the Penedès when we return:)
Cheers to Fall adventures!
